Content License and Usage Terms

Uploaded Content License Agreement

By uploading work samples, images, videos, or any other content ("Content") to the Technical Art Awards platform, you agree to the following terms:

1. Ownership and Rights

You retain all ownership rights to your Content. We do not claim ownership of any Content you upload to our platform.

2. Limited License Grant

By uploading Content, you grant Technical Art Awards a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your Content solely for the following purposes:

• •Awards Evaluation: Reviewing and judging submissions for the Technical Art Awards
• •Awards Ceremony: Displaying Content during the awards ceremony, both in-person and via live stream
• •Marketing and Promotion: Using Content in promotional materials, social media posts, website galleries, and other marketing communications related to the Technical Art Awards
• •Press and Media: Sharing Content with press and media outlets for coverage of the Technical Art Awards

3. Attribution

Whenever reasonably possible, we will provide appropriate attribution to the creator/owner of the Content when displayed publicly.

4. Restrictions on Our Use

We will NOT:

• •Sell or license your Content to third parties
• •Use your Content for unrelated commercial purposes
• •Modify your Content in ways that misrepresent the original work (except for reasonable adjustments for display purposes, such as resizing or cropping)
• •Claim ownership or authorship of your Content

5. Your Representations and Warranties

By uploading Content, you represent and warrant that:

• •You own the Content or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload it
• •The Content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights
• •You have obtained all necessary releases and permissions from any individuals depicted in the Content
• •The Content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Right to Remove Content

We reserve the right to remove any Content that:

• •Violates these terms
• •Infringes upon third-party rights
• •Contains inappropriate, offensive, or illegal material
• •Is subject to a valid DMCA takedown notice or other legal request

7. Termination of License

The license granted to us will remain in effect even if you delete your Content or your nomination from our platform, solely for:

• •Historical documentation of the awards
• •Archival purposes in connection with past awards ceremonies
• •Continued display of Content that has already been published in promotional materials

However, you may request removal of your Content from future use by contacting us at [email protected].

8. No Compensation

You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation for our use of the Content under this license.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
